Congratulations to Su Ty Stacy Patterson... Hoang Nhan (Yellow Eagle)!  She earned her Black Sash on October 1, 2005.  Stacy had competed all year as a 'Tournament Black Sash', but finally earned her official Instructors Sash.  This was the 1st time that we have opened our test so that other Martial Arts Schools could see our test.  Stacy tested in front of a very high profile board consisting of Tay Son Nhan Black Sashes:  Vo Su Tony Jordan, Su Ty Linh Le, Su Huynh Magglio Castro, As well as Visitors holding honorable ranks of Black Belt, Master, and Grand Master such as: James Toney, Bob Beasley, Cliff Dillehay, Deloy Nelson, Jay Hall, Jeff Kowalski, & Courtney Allen.  Stacy mesmerized the board with awesome self defense techniques, forms, and weapons demonstrations as well as the hard core pounding she took when fighting.

After the test, Su Ty Patterson and Vo Su Tony Jordan perfomed the Traditional Bowing Ceremony and promotion to Instructor Ceremony in front of the visitors and a crowd of supporters and students.  This Ceremony was also a first because we finally have the complete instructions of how to perform it from Vietnam.  Stacy was awarded her Sash and Kung Fu name, Hoang Nhan... Yellow Eagle.  This name was given by Master To Dinh Thanh of Vietnam because of her strong fighting spirit.  The pale yellow color in martial arts is a very strong color and represents a very strong fighter.  We look forward to the future and watching Stacy develop even more!

Look out Tournament fighters... here comes  Hoang Nhan!!!!
